OK. I messed up yesterday. No work. Not lazy. Other things. Wanted to do double today but did not. Whatever the case, I read through the Apple Developer and it is helpful. I don't think I would have had a prayer if I started with this. It talks mostly about nomenclature. There is no hands-on but at this point I need more conceptual and abstract. I also printed out a whole chapter of *pointers and I am looking forward to reading it. I want to get it! They tell me I must know pointers to officially be a real C developer. Not sure if I want to be a real C developer but know enough to get along.
Today I read someone's post of the 10 most important things to know to be an iOS developer. I am glad to say that I now know enough to know that the article was bad. She actually said not to understand Objective-C. Everyone who reacted to the article was critical of this and so was I.
I am looking forward to reading more in the Apple Developer tomorrow and if I have some interest, I will go back to C pointers.
