I read through the remainder of the chapter today and started doing the exercises. I can't say that I got any of the answers the first time. Actually answers 1 and 2 were not so bad but #3 is/was very challenging. The funny thing is that once I see someone provide an answer, it then seems so logical and sometimes even easy. I guess the whole issue with me centers on understanding the overall picture and why things are done the way they are. I mean, I get the idea of protocols, categories and class extensions but I am not exactly sure what to do all the time.
I am very thankful that I found answers to the exercises online. Otherwise, with complete humility I would be very lost on exercise 3. Well, based on the wordiness of exercises 4 and 5, it looks like there will be some challenging coding going on tomorrow.
