Did a family trip today and did not get back until 9:15. Did about an hour and half's work. For chapter 15, I could not do exercise 10 on my own. However, I found a solution online. In a way this pleased me as I new where to go to get help. I used 3 lines of code for the answer which turned out to be a much easier solution than done by a few of the users on the Kochan site. As an Access developer I have gone online hundreds of times to get help. In Access, however, I have found solutions that I generally easily understand. The solution I found I really do not understand but I guess I could have studied it a bit more but tonight I am lazy (that was hard to admit).
As for the 11th exercise, there was no other answers online so I was on my own. I figured it out! I know Kochan was looking for the answer to be at the AddressCard class and that's where it turned out to be! My code worked and I am proud of myself. In my past I have always tried my best to find solutions to code challenges. I would say I have come up with answers 95% of the time, even in those situations where I have absolutely no rudder to start with. I plan on continuing this approach as I continue my way through this code.
Chapter 15 has to end. I am going on to chapter 16 tomorrow. There is still 6 chapters to go but it appears that the last few chapters are for new topics and not of new constructs.
