This chapter is dealing mostly with building views. This looks very analogous to the Access forms. They have plenty of controls and properties, and it is pretty straightforward in terms on how to manipulate them.
This chapter began with a simple image control. It discussed some of its properties, which wasn't much. Next, there was a discussion on labels which are also simple controls with simple properties. Next, and where I am at now, the book discusses the Text Box. These are all very familiar controls that are basically used everywhere, in every language around.
I like the discussions about the controls as they go through each property. Consequently, I can use this book also as a reference. Tomorrow I will continue with my readings of the text box and see where it goes from there.
