Slow but steady

I have decided that, at least at this point, I am going to read every word slowly so I can understand everything. This new book is actually very good thus far.  I have read online that when the reader gets to chapter 8 that things get confusing. I have no doubts that this will happen but I hope to be able to at least work my way through.

It is pretty clear about how it presents things. Like every other iOS book or article that I have read, it discusses the model-view-controller (MVC). However, it does so in simple terms (terms I can understand). I now understand that there is a two-way connection between the controller and the view. The controller uses outlets to do something to the view and the views use actions to send something to the outlets. Pretty simple on paper and not introduced as such in other texts. Not sure why.

About 50 pages through and will continue to plod through more of it tomorrow.
