Are we having fun yet?

I think the answer for Chapter 7 is NO. I am all over the place and feel like a first year programming student. Barely got through exercise 1 and 2. Although I got exercise 1 right, I am not exactly sure why. I also think I took a very roundabout route to get exercise 2 correct. Lots of confusion and Kochan is not letting up in this chapter. I already see exercise 7.3 as being a challenge, one that I will address tomorrow. I do hope I finally get to chapter 8 soon. I would like to be halfway through the book by the end of the month. Today is already the 21st so I have a long way to get to page 238 by May 31st. Will not cut corners to get there so I will have to find the time to plough through.
