In the process of working through chapter 3 of the Programming in Objective-C book. I am learning about classes, methods, instances, instance variables, etc. I found it all very confusing at first but after re-reading it I think I am starting to get it. I am not comfortable with it but I think I am on my way. Tomorrow I will do the exercises in the chapter and not go to chapter 4 until I am done. I am up to page 49, about 1/10 of the way through the book. I realize that the pages will get slower and slower. I did give myself 2 months to understand the book. Hope I can do it.
I will also be reading more offline about encapsulation and why it is important to have.
I know in the past I would have said "what the heck is this", and possibly put the book on the shelf for eternity. This will NOT happen. I am going to keep working at it until I get it. It may take a few days, but since this is a very important concept, I will make the time. See you tomorrow.
