Read through the entire chapter 5 today. Learned the syntax for for, while and do loops. Worked through the first exercise. Throughout the lesson I copied over the programs and while working with them, I expanded my horizons a bit by adding some of my own code. Nothing extravagant but enough to satisfy some curiosities.
Finally learned how to prompt the user and write the value into the variable and then do stuff.
In addition, jumped a little ahead to learn about if/then statements as they became useful for my play coding.
Plan on working through the remaining exercises in the chapter tomorrow and maybe a little on Sunday.
