Well, I went back to chapter 5 and 7 and did the imaginary numbers exercises. To my surprise, they did not turn out so bad. Yes, I did need some help along the way, but I did figure everything out and all was done correctly. I then made it over to the program 1 in chapter 9 and really had no issue. So far, I am understanding chapter 9 pretty well. I am up to page 186 so there is really no chance of me getting to the half-way point by month-end. The half-way point is page 239 so there is 53 pages to go. I do not even close to see me averaging 18 pages a day with exercises to do at the end of chapters. Page 200 would be a realistic end-of-month goal.
Tomorrow I plan on finishing up the reading of chapter 9 and hoping to start on a few exercises.
