Chapters 14 and 15 done

Today I spent a little more time than I have as of late. I worked through chapters 14 and 15. These little chapters give you quick reinforcement which is nice. I am not exactly sure how good the teaching is but I will leave that evaluation until later when I complete the book. I am 92 pages through which is more than 1/3 of the way. It has some challenges but nothing as insane as Kochan's book which for some chapters, I would go for several days answering questions. If I recall, chapters 13 and 15 were doosies.

Today I got back to reviewing the NSString and NSMutable string concepts. Hillegass spent minimal time discussing the differences. Kochan spent much time discussing the differences between mutable and immutable. Then chapter 15 dealt with NSArray and a little with NSMutable array. It was a good review. I liked the challenge at the end but unlike Kochan, who gives you only the tools in the chapter for help, Hillegass practically spells out the answer for you and gives you mega-hints. Regardless, I am not dispairing like I did with Kochan's book. I don't know if this is a good thing or bad.
