Kochan Almost Done!

I finished problems 2, 3 and 5 today. I skipped 4 as I want to get to my next book already. I am pretty sure if I spend about 3 hours on question 4, I'd be able to do it, but I am aching to move on. With this in mind, I have just question 6 to go and I am all done with the book!

Now, the 64K question is what book is next. I will make an attempt at the OOP book. I am not entirely sure if this is the book for me. Why? It assumes Java knowledge. I have none.  It provides an appendix for C# and C++ developers so I have started reading that even though I do not know those languages. Moreover, so far I do not like the way the book is written. Too cutesy. However, since I have just skimmed the surface, I do not want to make any final judgements until I have had a chance to read a few chapters. 

I will give it a few days but it is on a short leash. If I don't like it, I will look for alternatives on Amazon.
